Rottnest Island activity
Take part in an information session to learn about the Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association (RVGA) Volunteer program and 11 week training course. Experience first-hand the challenges of working with volunteers in a unique outdoor setting.
The Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) coordinates a wide variety of activities and events as part of an annual volunteering works program. Activities include environmental works such as construction, rehabilitation, fauna monitoring and conservation restoration projects. Catch the ferry from Fremantle over to Rottnest Island and participate in a beach clean-up micro volunteering session, facilitated by the Tangaroa Blue Foundation's Australian Marine Debris Initiative or tree planting exercise. You will then be taken on a tour of Island to showcase some of the work completed by volunteers.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Delegates have the option to stay overnight at Rottnest Island at their own cost (Ferry ticket will be valid till departure), click here for accommodation options.
Inclusions: Includes morning tea and lunch, bus and ferry transport
Notes: All guests will need to wear comfortable clothing, enclosed footwear, hat and sunscreen as walking is involved.
